    On September 21, 2022, a new Memorandum of Understanding between DAAD and the Inter University Council for East Africa (IUCEA) was signed in a virtual event by the two Secretaries General.

  • One-year scholarships for study abroad: David Kratzert

    The DAAD supports one-year scholarships for study abroad. The program offers German students at Bachelor, Master, or PhD level the opportunity to gain international experience during a longer study period abroad, to pursue individual study interests, and to develop both professionally and personally. With the new campaign "study worldwide - EXPERIENCE IT!" the DAAD promotes stays abroad for German students.     Sophie Göckel and Amina Ahmed are interns currently in Kenya and Rwanda, respectively. Sophie is an intern in the DAAD funded program “Lehramt International” at the German School Nairobi since March 2022, and Amina is assigned as a volunteer by Kulturweit (German UNESCO Commission) at the PASCH school Green Hills Academy in Kigali.
