    Garissa Master Scholarship Kenya from the DAAD Foundation

    The Nairobi office was commissioned by the DAAD-Stiftung at the beginning of 2021 to announce the call for applications for the follow-up scholarship among the “Garissa” alumni. An overwhelming number of 170 alumni submitted their applications via the DAAD portal; in a competitive selection process with interviews, seven scholarships were awarded, three to females. On behalf of the DAAD-Stiftung three colleagues of the DAAD Nairobi met the scholarship holders online a few months after they began their studies and report on their experiences:
